Upon completing high school in Toronto, Sheikh Abdul Wahab Saleem went on to complete a diploma in Arabic studies at King Saud University. He then received a B.A. in Fiqh & Usul Al-Fiqh from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Along with his university education he has studied several classical texts in various Islamic sciences with distinguished Islamic scholars.

Fiqh, Usool Al-Fiqh, Aqeedah, Nahw, Sarf, Hadith, Mustalah Al-Hadith, & Tafseer are some of the sciences that the Sheikh has been blessed to have studied with renowned scholars privately. He also has Ijazaat in numerous works including works on Hadith, Mustalah, Usul, Aqeedah and Fiqh. Sheikh Abdul Wahab has read the Quran entirely in both narrations of the recitation of `Aasim; namely Hafs & Shubah. Upon completion of this study he recieved Ijaazah in both Hafs & Shubah.

He is the founder and president of Salik Academy, and is an active participant in several Dawah projects. While residing in Edmonton, AB with his family, he is continuing his education. Along with his studies, he is currently a resident scholar and the Educational Director at Rahma Mosque, Edmonton. Moreover, Sheikh Abdul Wahab has given lectures in several localities across the world. He has made guest appearances and presented entire series on a variety of TV stations. He is also the author of a number of articles published on his website www.wahabsaleem.com and MuslimMatters.org. Furthermore, he has also authored a number of books which remain manuscripts to date.
